So, like any good graphic designer/communications person, I have my copy of the colorindex by my computer... it's a wealth of wisdom for picking color schemes and formulas for print and web. I'm also a fan of the other books in the 'index' series... the type, layout, and design basics.
Anyway, I was cruising my blog feeds and came across the Wear Palettes blog.
I'm so not a fashion expert, at all. I shop at the GAP.
But, I thought this site was pretty cool, and creative. Basically, the anonymous author, a design student, makes color bars out of the clothes worn by subjects of the Sartorialist. It's like the colorindex for fashion!
I love it because it's very hip and gives some GREAT ideas for color palettes that are a bit more edgier and contemporary.
