Well, today is my last day in Peoria. Pretty crazy. After 24 years (less 9 months for a brief stay in Washington state) I'm leaving the place that's been hometo head up to Chicago to start a new chapter and a new adventure at Park Community Church.
I've spent the last few days packing, throwing things away, saying farewells and getting everything ready for the move.
A really good friend of mine sent me an email yesterday with this song attached saying it was for me to play while I move... quite appropriate. (Although I would say Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway is appropriate for the moment too.)
Anyway, 8 AM tomorrow morning the journey begins... I'm so excited for what God has in store.
